* Human Resource Association of Central Connecticut (HRACC) - SHRM chapter for central Connecticut; large association with an active calendar of monthly meetings

* Human Resource Planning Society – national association for those involved in human resource planning

* Northeast Human Resource Association (NEHRA) – SHRM chapter for the greater Boston Massachusetts area; very active association with lots of events including a large annual conference

* Office of Federal Contract Compliance Programs (OFCCP) – the U.S. government agency that audits compliance with laws governing Equal Opportunity Employment

* University of Connecticut – along with information on UCONN's national championship basketball and soccer teams, this site provides useful academic and events resources
